International Builders Show

I’ll be in Las Vegas this week meeting attendees of the Builders Show, one of the largest conventions of the home building industry in the country.  At the same time, I’ll be exploring some of the neighborhoods, new and old, of the Las Vegas area.

I’m curious to see what the realities are within the convention center and out in the streets.  My preliminary research on Las Vegas was wrapped up over a year ago.  Today, Las Vegas is so incredibly different (the country as a whole, as well,) the conclusions and leads my research turned up are generally no longer valid.  I’ll report on my findings and experiences in a couple weeks.
